A cozy game for life with diabetes
A little glider who gets it.
GliderMon reads along with your glucose data and turns your day into a small, gentle game. Your sugar glider earns acorns, tries on outfits and grows its nest in an enormous old tree where every neighbor has diabetes too.
How it works
You live your day. Your glider lives its day alongside you.
-
1
It reads along
Your CGM or meter app already shares readings with Apple Health or Health Connect, and GliderMon reads them from there. No typing numbers in, and no CGM required.
-
2
Showing up pays
One check-in a day earns acorns and a pouch to open tomorrow, and logging small wins earns a few more. The pouch is the same whatever your numbers did. Highs and lows are weather, not a score.
-
3
Spend it on joy
Acorns buy outfits, furniture and a bigger nest. The pouch turns up gifts too, for neighbors who have strong opinions about gifts.

Make your glider
This is the real in-game GliderMon, live in your browser. Try on a few looks.
A few favorites from the shop (the game has lots more). Like this one? Join the waitlist and it'll star in your launch email.
Meet the neighbors
Everyone in the Great Glider Tree has diabetes. Somebody's pump beeps mid-conversation and nobody even looks up. Tap someone to say hi.
Become friends, one gift at a time
The pouch turns up little gifts. Pass them along and each neighbor's trust grows, until it unlocks a hang-out: a short scene from their story, somewhere in the tree.
Every hang-out ends with a keepsake for your nest. Sable's first one is a rating card. It says "Tolerable." From her, that's a lot.
Grow a home, branch by branch
Orvus, the tree's architect, builds your nest in five stages. Fill each one with furniture sets, wallpapers and floors, all recolorable, and your glider will find a favorite spot.
A few promises
-
Health features are never paywalled
Check-ins, goals, your readings and your streaks are free for everyone. An optional subscription sells extra colorways and nest themes, and that's all it sells.
-
Nobody ranks your diabetes
No leaderboards, now or later. Looking after yourself isn't a competition.
-
No good foods or bad foods
If food goals help you, like eating at regular times, you pick the ones that fit. They're always optional, and GliderMon never calls a food good, bad or a cheat.
-
A companion, not a clinician
GliderMon never tells anyone how to dose or what a number should be, and it never replaces your CGM's or meter's own alerts.
Questions
When does it come out?
We're polishing it now. Join the waitlist and you'll hear first, and beta testers hear sooner.
Do I need a CGM?
No. GliderMon reads glucose from Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android, so a CGM or a meter app that shares its readings there will work. If you rarely check, you can still play: check-ins, habits and small wins don't need any readings. We'll publish a tested list of devices before launch.
How much will it cost?
It's free to download and play. An optional GliderMon Plus subscription adds extra colorways and premium nest themes. It never sells health features, acorns or progress.
Is GliderMon a medical device?
No. It's a game that keeps you company. It doesn't give treatment advice and it doesn't replace your device's alerts or your care team.
Who is it for?
Teens and adults who look after their own diabetes: type 1, type 2 or prediabetes, on insulin, pills or neither. Goals and habits fit how you manage yours. A mode for pregnancy and gestational diabetes is planned after launch. It's written to be friendly for all ages without ever being babyish.
What do you do with my email?
We use it to tell you about GliderMon, and that's it. We never sell it or share it with advertisers. You can unsubscribe from any email. See the privacy policy.
